The Legend of the Monkey King: Awakening of the Nether Soul

The Demon Monkey King Qingtian, the king of the demon realm and the god of destruction, is a legendary figure of the monkey clan with blood-red eyes and black spider-monkey fur. He hails from the Qingguo Continent and is the ninth son of the Qing Emperor. As the story unfolds, he possesses ever-changing forms and world-destroying martial arts, dominating and unifying the entire demon realm. To obtain the power of the dragon ancestor Zhulong, he wages a nine-day and nine-night war across realms. The collision of Qingtian and Zhulong's immense forces sends Qingtian into the abyss of time and space, transporting him to a mysterious continent called the Xuantian Continent. In this world, everyone has a battle soul and attributes, following the laws of cultivation. Legends of the Demon Monkey King Qingtian also exist here. Reincarnated in this realm, Qingtian finds his martial arts incompatible with the world's rules, and his mortal battle soul is useless. He then lives an ordinary life as a photographer and part-time novelist. Vague memories of his past life surface, and he writes them into a book, which catches the attention of a merchant who proposes a collaboration. Qingtian sets off on a journey but dies in a plane crash. In the underworld, he confronts the King of Hell, only to discover that the king is his past-life sister, Qingyao. With her help, he becomes a ghostly emissary, his battle soul transforms into a nether soul, and his past-life powers are gradually unlocked. Finally, he finds Zhulong, also known as Zhu Jiuyin, and a bloody battle erupts once more.
