Youth in Full Bloom
by 聂千帆
This may be the most regret-free choice of my entire life. From the moment we stepped through this door, we were destined to live our lives differently from ordinary people. On the land we love, with our blood, our sweat, and our bodies, we guard the convictions we hold firm. We are a group of special people, a group of ordinary people, a group of contradictory people. Our home is this land, and only after that our families of origin. When the five-star red flag flutters in the wind overhead, when the red-and-blue flag brushes past the evening breeze, the figures in the glow of the setting sun embody a solemn and sacred mission. We come from all corners of the country, from countless households, and we will ultimately, in the torrent of history, go forth to every inch of land we guard. The darkness before dawn is merely a path we must tread. I hope the afterglow of dusk will shine upon our extraordinary lives. Now I wave farewell to the deepest secret in my heart. — Description from novelcodex.org
