Unofficial History and Legends
by 洪刘华
"To know the affairs of the court, ask the wild man in the mountains." Before the Xia Dynasty, China had three emperors: Yao, Shun, and Yu, all of whom were wise rulers in the eyes of the people. After the Xia Dynasty came the Shang, Zhou, Spring and Autumn, and Warring States periods, until Qin Shihuang unified the six states. Then Liu Bang, wielding a three-foot sword, rose up against the serpent, destroyed Qin in three years, and defeated Chu in five, thus unifying the world!
