The King and the Fox

In the twilight of the Shang dynasty, fate brings together a prince and a fox spirit. Prince Zituo (later King Wending of Shang) is bold and ambitious but trapped in palace intrigue and his grandfather's suspicion. One snowy night, he rescues a white fox caught in a trap. The fox, named Qiu Yingying, has cultivated for three hundred years and appears before him to repay the kindness and accumulate virtue for her tribulation.
