Yinshang Demon Romance

In the late Shang dynasty, when divine power wanes and human desires rise, a forbidden love will rewrite fate. Emperor Xin (Zi Shou), the last king of Shang, is ambitious but increasingly isolated. On his path to question heaven and challenge the gods, he builds the Deer Terrace and reforms sacrifices, branded a tyrant by history, yet no one knows his inner weariness and abyssal loneliness. Liu Ruyan, a five-hundred-year-old fox spirit from Qingqiu, is sent by Nuwa to seduce the king and hasten the end of Shang. She is meant to be a cold executor, but meets Emperor Xin in the peach grove by Qishui—a man whose gaze sees through her disguise, sharing the same loneliness that the world cannot understand.
