Orphan of the Mystic Bird

Shang Tang overthrew the Xia dynasty, ordained by the Mystic Bird. Yet in the dark side of true history, a legend deliberately forgotten by bronze inscriptions flows. On the eve of his oath to attack Ge, the founding monarch of the Great Shang, Shang Tang, met her by the Qi River—Liu Ruyan. White as snow, with a cinnabar mark of the Mystic Bird between her brows, faint gold in her eyes, and a phantom of nine tails flickering behind her. She gave him a jade pendant, warned of an ambush, and helped him win his first battle, but only spoke of a 'three-hundred-year karma.' She is a fox spirit, also an orphan. In her blood flows the secret of ancient Qingqiu and the Mystic Bird intertwined.
