In the deep mountains of Qian, Maple Rock Slope holds an ancient legend: the Love Stone seals a demon spirit capable of destroying the world. The Dong girl Meila is born different, able to hear the whispers of stones, but is seen as an outcast by her tribe. During a sacrificial ceremony, she accidentally awakens the thousand-year-old stone warrior Tianlang, who, with amnesia, only retains the obsession to 'protect you.' The two are bound by fate.
