Legend of Ao Xiaoyao
by 文红廉
During the Jiajing period, Japanese pirates colluded with underworld gangs, attempting to first occupy Shandong and then overthrow China. The wandering swordsman Ao Xiaoyao was inadvertently drawn into the conflict. Relying on his peerless divine sword and cunning, he pacified the Black Tiger, executed the Azure Dragon, unified the martial world north of the Yangtze, then outwitted and defeated the Japanese pirates. Afterwards, he crossed to Japan, defeated the Eastern martial saint, and upheld the might of China.
