The Deep Diver

The Archives Section of the Deep Diving Bureau, basement level one, the corridor light has been broken for half a year with no one fixing it. I've been sitting here for eight years, seen by everyone as a marginal figure. A seemingly ordinary whistleblowing case gets stuck, and I submit a handwritten report. The director was silent for ten minutes after reading it: "How did you find these?" "Case file numbers, page numbers, signature handwriting—they speak for themselves." The Special Operations Division was established, and I am its core. They want to investigate a corruption network that has been hidden for twenty years. And the first target I need to investigate is the person who kicked me into the archives back then. They thought I could only organize files. They don't know that the deepest seabed is the deadliest hunting ground.
