The Ming Dynasty 1644
by 冬日思暖
In the 17th year of Chongzhen, the empire collapsed, the emperor hanged himself on Coal Hill, and half of the Ming dynasty fell. Modern youth Lin Mo accidentally time-travels, possessing the soul of Zhu Yousong, the Prince of Fu of the Southern Ming. Everyone says he is a dissipated and decadent 'toad emperor,' destined to lose his reputation and perish within a year. But now, within this body is a soul from the future. Despite powerful ministers pulling strings, enemies surrounding him, bandits everywhere, and warlords dividing the land, he has become a puppet emperor doomed to fall. He will defy fate: rally fierce generals, sow discord among the four garrisons, balance court factions, reorganize river defenses, accumulate troops, repel the Manchus beyond the Huai River, restore the lost territory, revive Han culture, and rebuild a prosperous China.
