Changshan Sword Shadows

In the fourth year of the Xianchun era of the Southern Song Dynasty (1268), the Yuan army's iron hooves trampled across the Central Plains. The isolated city of Xiangyang fought tenaciously, while the land south of the Yangtze River was in turmoil. Changshan martial artist Li Zhekai, while escorting relief grain, accidentally became entangled in a conspiracy between the local officials and the Yuan army, and met Xiao Yulan, the daughter of a Xiangyang anti-Yuan martyr. From misunderstandings to mutual understanding, they joined hands to uncover the anti-Yuan secret letter hidden behind the lotus jade pendant. Together with the Southern Sword Sect, Southern Song officers, and righteous warriors of the jianghu, they raised the banner of resistance against the Yuan in the Sanqu region. They experienced bloody battles at Qingyun Stronghold, cultivation on Sanqu Mountain, and a sworn alliance at Lanke Mountain, forming the Western Zhejiang Anti-Yuan Alliance. Using Changshan as their base, they fought a desperate struggle against the Yuan army. From the fall of Xiangyang to the fall of Lin'an, from the tragic song of Yashan to guerrilla resistance, Li Zhekai and Xiao Yulan always adhered to their chivalrous hearts. Even after the fall of the Southern Song, they led the remaining righteous warriors to carry on the flame of resistance, composing a tragic epic of jianghu heroes defending their homeland during the late Southern Song Dynasty with their blood and lives.
