Forensic Fan Chen

On a rainy night at a dismembered corpse scene, forensic examiner Fan Chen touches the skin and sees a small hand tapping on a window in a sea of fire. At age seven, he took the wrong path and failed to save his playmate Xiaoyue. Twenty years later, the serial killer he is tracking is the same person who set that fire. Each autopsy tears open his trauma anew. Each time he uses his ability to 'hear the dead speak,' his hands tremble more and he forgets more. Before falling into a coma, his master left one word: 'Live.' But Fan Chen doesn't know if he is still alive. The dead don't lie. But the living must live out the parts the dead never got to.
