The Guardian Faction, composed mainly of surviving scientists from the original Prometheus Project, idealists, and humanitarians, who believe the disaster originated from human error and that the responsibility lies in repair. Lin Jin's father, Lin Zhenguo, was once the spiritual leader of this faction. The Utilization Faction, possibly originating from the European Industrial Revolution in the 19th century, founded by a group of elite families who firmly believe that 'humanity needs crisis to evolve.' They have long been secretly monitoring and funding various fringe sciences and occult studies, and their influence was present in the early stages of the Prometheus Project.
