Mountain Journey

A hard-edged youth film with dual storylines. In the first, former high school senior Ouyang and his close friend Ren Feng, after losing a crucial high school championship game, reject a youth team invitation and fail to attend college respectively. They embark on a plan to form a basketball team named 'Ren', traveling across the country to compete in streetball tournaments, eventually building ten large arenas and founding their own league, K.EVER. The second storyline follows their high school juniors striving for a championship, and later, after four years of college, some challenge professional careers while others join the thirteen-man team. The first storyline is highly realistic and passionate, depicting the youth's fervor—realistically, finding a top player can take months, and building an arena takes years. The second storyline is about high school passion, requiring at least ten years of basketball experience to truly understand; otherwise, you're just a child playing games.
