Divine Guardian of Huaxia

Chen Hao, a sophomore, goes to Xiangxi for a summer trip. While taking shelter from rain in an abandoned ancient Thunder God Temple, he accidentally triggers a broken statue of the Thunder God. Instantly, seven purple-golden heavenly thunders strike him unconscious. When he wakes up, he finds a 'Purple Lightning Pearl' in his mind, his body filled with狂暴 lightning power, and an ancient 'Thunder Mark' on his chest. It turns out the temple was the last earthly dojo of the ancient Thunder God, the Universal Thunder Lord of the Nine Heavens. Chen Hao is the destined 'Thunder Body' inheritor, gaining part of the Thunder God's power and artifacts: the 'Thunder Hammer' and 'Lightning Wings'. He then embarks on various missions, fights against the Japanese, and eventually finds love.
