The Box Girl
by 古早
Deep in the mountains, an old mansion filled with wooden boxes. Eight people push open the door, breaking the silence. After dark, candles ignite on their own, and the sound of nails scraping against wood comes from inside the walls. The dead companions return one by one—except the mirror is empty. A thousand boxes sealed, blood tears on the back of a drawing. She has been trapped in a box for forty-nine years, carving three words with her nails: Help me. These eight people are her last hope. But it seems, from the very beginning, no one was meant to leave alive.
