The Crazy Repairman

Liu Fei is an appliance repairman. At twenty-six, he runs a humble repair shop, his life as steady and uneventful as the old refrigerators he fixes. Until one morning, he is woken up by a desk lamp. Not figuratively. He can actually hear appliances talking. The fridge complains about its aging door seal, the washing machine mutters that the owner has been crying a lot lately, and the microwave knows how many times he failed at losing weight. Behind every broken appliance lies a human story—the TV of a lonely elderly person, the water heater of a single mother, the remote control smashed during a couple's quarrel. Liu Fei doesn't want to be a hero or save the world. He just wants to do his job well, keep his shop running, and live a clear life. But as he understands more, he finds that some things are harder to fix than broken parts—like the human heart.
