The Vanishing Beauties

Travelers arrive on an isolated island: Li Lingzhe, a mental math prodigy; Peng Zhigang, a public security officer; Chen Weiming, an astrophysicist; Zhao Wenhui, Chen's wife and a TCM doctor; Ren Honghui, an entrepreneur in debt; Chen Yang, Ren's wife; Zhao Meng and Zhao Qian, twin college students; Liu Yang, a former special forces soldier; and He Xiaoshuai, a penniless rogue. They stay at a hotel, but the next day the guide disappears, leaving them alone. Searching the island, they find a palace with many doors. Entering one, they meet a girl named Mingwei, who leads them to a villa where a strange rule applies: each new person added causes someone to vanish. Two travelers disappear, including a girl. They face various dangers and wonders, discovering that the palace has 999 doors, each opening to a new world.
