Broken Contract: Forbidden Contact

In his sophomore year of high school, Liu Po's grandfather passed away a few days earlier. One night, a strange incident occurred at home. In the middle of the night, he heard a "creaking" sound in the yard. At first, he thought it was his grandmother getting up, but when he went out, there was nothing. Ten minutes later, the creaking sound came again. This time, he was nervous. His grandparents were asleep, the yard gate was locked, and the upstairs rooms were empty with no tenants. Where was the sound coming from? Staring at the door, Liu Po dared not breathe. He was scared, but also worried about his grandparents' safety. Summoning his courage, he finally went to the door and peeked through the crack. Just one look nearly made him fall to the ground. In the pitch-black yard stood a person, whose face was unclear, only a head of snow-white hair visible. In the blink of an eye, the figure vanished. Liu Po snapped back to reality, scrambled back to bed, and pulled the covers over his head, unable to sleep all night. The next morning, his grandmother, with red eyes, said she had dreamed of Liu Po's great-grandmother, his grandfather's mother. She said the great-grandmother stood by the bed, saying she wanted to take his grandfather away. From that day on, Liu Po realized that his eyes could truly see things others couldn't.
