Stories in the Paintings

Ordinary office worker Qin Zongde returns home from a tiring day to find his life completely shattered. His cat is eerily frozen, the second-floor bedroom has vanished, and fourteen mysterious paintings have appeared on the walls. A cryptic photo leads him to a secret forum where he meets a veteran, Old Alley Wanderer, and learns the brutal rules of survival. Those chosen by the paintings must enter one painting each month to complete tasks, teaming up with strangers. The dungeons are treacherous: teammates scheme and betray, veterans sacrifice newcomers, and NPCs lie to lure players into breaking taboos. Each dungeon ends with at least one death; if no one dies, all are trapped forever. Two unbreakable rules: no harming other players or ordinary NPCs, or be haunted by vengeful spirits forever. Avoiding tasks brings monsters to your door. His once peaceful life is gone. Alone and helpless, Qin Zongde must step into dangerous painting worlds, wary of betrayal, deciphering lies, and surviving among cold, selfish strangers. Each month is a life-or-death game, and he must tread carefully to survive and find a way to break free from the paintings' grip.
