Mortal Judge

At the peak of Kunlun, the supreme beings of myriad civilizations convene the "Eternal Council" to debate humanity's future. A college student delivering takeout is unexpectedly chosen as the "Mortal Judge"—his single vote will determine the course of human civilization. With each vote, he must personally endure the full millennium of suffering of that civilization and comprehend a "technique" from it. This story attempts to explore obscure philosophy within a fantasy narrative.
