Night Walk in the Yin Ruins
by 陈梓陌
During the chaotic era of the Republic of China, the country is in turmoil. Zhang Dashan, a spoiled young master, is wrongfully imprisoned and his family is ruined. With no way out, he joins the army. After a defeat, he and his comrades flee into a forbidden mountain wilderness, stumbling upon the ancient tomb of the Wencheng Kingdom, which has been sealed for a millennium. A blood moon covers the ridge, ghostly towers appear, a cat-faced old woman emits deadly yin energy, five-colored poisonous toads melt flesh upon contact, and a giant serpent guards the tomb entrance. Veteran soldiers unafraid of gunfire die one by one in the tomb's deadly traps. Zhang Dashan barely escapes by falling off a cliff, bringing with him the forbidden book "Feng Shui and Yin-Yang Arts," but a sinister snake pattern enters his body, cursing his bloodline for generations. Years later, the snake pattern curse reappears on him, unveiling the millennia-old grudges, unresolved yin debts, and secrets of the ancient tomb buried deep by his ancestors. A yin-yang fate spanning a hundred years is thus rekindled!
