Awakening in the Mundane World

Also known as 'The Chronicles of Universal Enlightenment', set in a modern city, it tells the story of Lin Shen, an office worker trapped by worldly shackles. When his mother falls seriously ill and he faces workplace bullying, he hits rock bottom. One night, while delivering food as a part-time gig, he gets caught in a rainstorm and stumbles into an abandoned ancient temple. There, he meets a mysterious old monk who uses 'one finger to cut off delusions' to help him break free from his inner demons. Before disappearing, the monk leaves behind a torn page of the 'Shurangama Sutra' and half a piece of green jade, saying these items can connect to the 'Ancient Realm of the Heart Lamp'—a parallel world formed by the obsessions of all beings.
