Storm in Dazexiang

In the seventh month of the first year of Qin Er Shi, nine hundred garrison soldiers, led by Chen Sheng and Wu Guang, rose up in Dazexiang, initiating the overthrow of the Qin dynasty. After the uprising, many regions responded enthusiastically, and the anti-Qin momentum surged across the former six kingdoms. Chen Sheng assessed the situation, dispatched troops deep into the former territories of Han, Zhao, and Wei, actively fueling the flames and cultivating anti-Qin forces, creating a favorable situation with multiple fronts. To extinguish the rebellion, the Qin dynasty mobilized the Lishan Legion and the Great Wall Legion. One route swept through Zhao and Han, then relieved the siege of Xingyang; the other swept through Wei, Qi, and Wu, then advanced deep into Lingnan to connect with the Lingnan Legion, jointly suppressing the anti-Qin forces. However, due to the incompetent ruler and corrupt ministers, this decision was severely detached from reality, causing the Lishan Legion to be trapped in Changsha and the Great Wall Legion isolated outside Hangu Pass. At the critical moment, both legions were separated from the main battlefield, allowing Xianyang to fall and the Qin dynasty to collapse. After two years of arduous struggle, Chen Sheng's rebel army turned from weak to strong, finally overthrew the brutal Qin, and established the Chen dynasty.
