Nine Turns to the Tide

The four seas worship the tide, bone patterns determine fate, and every turn in cultivation shortens life. The Tide Sacrifice Kingdom has long fed humans to the sea. The youth Wuzhi, bearing a rare tide bone, is chosen as a living sacrifice. In danger, a bone talisman left by his mother saves him and reveals the truth: the sacrifices are a conspiracy by the royal family and the priestly academy, using human lives to sustain the 'Heaven Leak' experiment. His missing mother was the first test subject. To break free from fate and find his mother, Wuzhi ventures into forbidden seas, explores ancient ruins, and tempers his tide bone through layers of trials. He is joined by Qingheng, who has priestly blood, pursued by his nemesis Zhuli, while his former mentor hides secrets. Amid court intrigues, sea beast uprisings, and hidden realms in the Heaven Leak rift, the duo deciphers talismans, searches ancient texts, and confronts the powerful Grand Priest and the corrupt dynasty. Ultimately, Wuzhi gathers the keys, abolishes the millennium-old human sacrifice system, establishes new rules to counter the Tide God, completes the nine turns, reunites with his family, and reshapes the order of the four seas.
