With Ten Thousand Demons, I March on Lingshan
by 憨憨的傻甜甜
Sun Wukong was trapped under Five Elements Mountain for five hundred years. He did not wait for the scripture seeker, nor for peaches and wine, nor for a thrilling fight—but for a female ghost, Ah Piao, who had wandered for a thousand years. She is outside the Three Realms and beyond the Five Elements; her only wish is to find some fun. Ah Piao tears the seal apart with her bare hands, and the Monkey King regains his freedom. The two travel west, ostensibly seeking answers, but in truth targeting the weak spots of the Three Realms' authorities. They deceive demons and monsters, recruit Zhu Bajie, Sha Wujing, the Bull Demon King, Red Boy, the Spider Spirit, and even drag the King of Hell into the rebellion. The Celestial Court and Lingshan send gods and Buddhas to stop them, while Nezha and Yang Jian defect one after another. Until atop Lingshan, Sun Wukong confronts the Tathagata face to face: If compassion can save all beings, why has suffering never ceased? This battle is fought with divine powers, and even more for the truth buried for five hundred years. — Description from novelcodex.org
