The Great Sage Rejects Journey to the West

Five hundred years later, Sun Wukong returns to Mount Huaguo. The mountain is littered with the corpses of his monkey subjects, the Water Curtain Cave lies in ruins, and a hundred-zhang stone stele suppresses the mountain peak. On the stele are only eight words: The demon monkey Sun Wukong has been executed. The Heavenly Court says he was once suppressed beneath the Five Elements Mountain, later broke free and caused chaos, and his soul was scattered five hundred years ago. But Sun Wukong is clearly alive and well. Even more absurd, the Heavenly Court's golden register records a journey to the West to obtain scriptures that he never experienced, and it even clearly states that he ultimately became the Victorious Fighting Buddha. Who lived out his life for him? Who, using his name, slaughtered all the monkeys of Mount Huaguo? Sun Wukong smashes the Heavenly Gate with one blow and breaks into the forbidden ground that controls the fate of all living beings. Since the gods and Buddhas of all heavens have already written his ending for him, he will tear up this heavenly fate with his own hands! This time, the Great Sage will not obtain scriptures, nor become a Buddha. He will save the monkeys of Mount Huaguo, and he will make the gods and Buddhas of all heavens answer one question: When did my fate ever fall to you to write? — Description from novelcodex.orgFull novel: The Great Sage Rejects Journey to the West — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org
