Restoring the Ancient Book: I Restored a Written...

"Books can bury people, and they can also bring people to life."—In pursuit of immortality, the ancients used living people as characters and fresh blood as ink, sealing "fate" into books. Those written into the *Book of Burial* have irreversible destinies; only by finding the "one who holds the brush" can the ending be rewritten. Shen Yanzhi, a restorer of ancient texts, takes on an untitled damaged scroll. On the scroll, written in cinnabar, are his name and the date of his death. To survive, he follows the clues within the pages and ventures deep into an ancient town that appears only at midnight—only to discover that he has long been a character whose role was written into this book from the very start. — Description from novelcodex.orgFull novel: Restoring the Ancient Book: I Restored a Written... — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org
