Arknights Simulator: Can You Really Love Again?

(’m picking this fanfic up because it sounds interesting and obviously because Nearl is a baddie. I personally love simulation stories, and I’ve been reading too many romance slice-of-life fanfics lately. I need some action ACTION and, of course, romance, because what is action without romance?) What would you do if you discovered that the world you once knew only as a game was, in truth, the world ten thousand years into the future? What if the characters who had once existed only on a screen appeared before you as living, breathing people? And what if, this time, you were truly given the chance to save them? What would you choose? After awakening inside the Sarcophagus, Clarus Veyr is confronted with that very choice and, in the end, presses the switch that activates technology left behind by the previous civilization. His soul shatters into countless fragments and scatters across Terra. Before his true awakening can come, those fragments live out one life after another, leaving behind story after story across this vast land. And with every life comes another person. As those once-separate lives and people gradually converge, a brand-new story begins—along with one strange, inexplicable bond after another…. Margaret Nearl: “I salute you, my comrade-in-arms… my beloved.” Blaze: “Hey, hey! I had the Rhodes Island kitchen make some tangerine pastries. Remember to bring some booze too… Wanna have them together tonight?” Ling: “I would buy osmanthus blossoms and carry wine with me, yet it could never be the same as the journeys of my youth. I remember every line of the poem you wrote back then. But tell me… how much of me do you still remember? And how much do you still love me?”…Clarus Veyr: “Doctor, I’m counting on you! Whatever you do, do not let them find me!” Original: 模拟方舟：真的能再爱一次吗？ — Description from novelcodex.orgFull novel: Arknights Simulator: Can You Really Love Again? — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org
