Synopsis: Su Yunshen suffers from a congenital heart condition and lives in seclusion deep in the mountains, sustaining his life by consuming a special herb once a year. One day, while descending the mountain to gather medicine, he rescues Wen Run, the leader of the demonic sect, who is being hunted by the righteous sects. Wen Run has none of the temperament one would expect from a demon lord. Instead, he is compassionate and often goes out of his way to help others. Su Yunshen therefore pretends not to know his true identity.
