Bride of the Obsidian Throne

Nineteen-year-old **Thalia Leandros** is an antique restoration apprentice with an unusual gift—she can hear the lingering voices of the dead within certain ancient objects. One day, Thalia accidentally activates a mysterious black stone gate by the sea. On the verge of death, she is pulled into the Underworld and awakens inside the Obsidian Palace, where she meets **Acheron Vesper**, the ruler of the Obsidian Throne. Even stranger, a mysterious **obsidian wedding ring** has appeared on her left ring finger—and no matter what she does, she cannot remove it. Acheron seems to have known her long before their first meeting, and the ring represents a bond that began nineteen years ago. But Thalia remembers none of it. After returning to the human world, Thalia begins investigating the ring, her family’s hidden past, and the strange incidents surrounding her. Her search gradually reveals an ancient connection between herself and the Obsidian Throne, as well as a one-year pact with Acheron and the **Seven Royal Seals** scattered between the worlds of the living and the dead. As each seal is recovered, fragments of Thalia’s lost memories begin to return, bringing her closer to the truth of who she once was. In the end, Thalia discovers that the title **“Bride of the Obsidian Throne”** has been misunderstood for generations. She was never simply a mortal bride destined for the ruler of the Underworld.**She was the other rightful ruler of the Obsidian Throne—and the one the dead have been waiting to return.** — Description from novelcodex.orgFull novel: Bride of the Obsidian Throne — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org
