DC: There is no Batman in Gotham!
by Amina_Sims
Weeds grow rampant across Wayne Manor, while the Batcave lies primitive and desolate. When Bruce fell alongside his parents in Crime Alley, Gotham did not become any worse over the following twenty years. But it did not exactly become any better, either. The Joker was still wiping away his pale makeup. A young Penguin was still biding his time and keeping a low profile. Harvey was still racking his brains trying to uproot Maroni’s gang. The entire world was so real that it was terrifying. Perhaps it was missing a spoonful of the “extreme villains” that served as the liquor’s base. Perhaps it lacked the embellishment of strange abilities and mutants. But that did not affect the ferocious taste of this “Bloody Mary.” — Description from novelcodex.org
