His Little Empress

Introduction:- Orphaned at a tender age, Qi Yue was whisked away into the imperial palace by her aunt, the Empress Dowager. Before she was even eight years old, she found herself crowned as the Empress to Emperor Yuanshou, Li Yi. Li Yi had promised Empress Dowager Qi that he would never, ever depose his Empress. But deep down in his heart? He couldn’t even bear to look at this gloomy, sickly little girl. Biding his time until the Empress Dowager finally passed away, Li Yi promptly tossed his little Empress into Zhengyang Palace to gather dust. And there he left her out to dry—for two whole years. Two years later, Qi Yue turned fifteen. The frail, sickly little girl of yesterday had blossomed into a breathtakingly ethereal, albeit still delicate, young maiden. Li Yi made his royal stance exceedingly clear: he didn’t like deep-scheming women, he didn’t like two-faced women, and he most definitely didn’t like ruthless women. To sum it all up nicely? Li Yi did not like Qi Yue. That is, until one fateful night under the moonlight, when Li Yi crossed paths with a peerless beauty. Ever since then, his supposedly unlikable little Empress began invading his dreams, night after glorious night. From that moment on, the aloof, stunningly beautiful Empress found herself firmly cradled in the palm of the Emperor’s hand, pampered and spoiled to the absolute extreme. Translator’s Anecdote (T/N): Ah, the classic “I will never like her… wait, why is she so pretty in the moonlight?!” trope! Emperor Li Yi is serving up an absolute masterclass in eating his own words, and honestly, we love to see a royal backpedal. Grab your tea and pastries, folks, because watching this arrogant emperor turn into a completely hopelessly doting husband is going to be deliciously sweet! — Description from novelcodex.orgFull novel: His Little Empress — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org
