My Talent Column Is Empty, So I Steal Everyone Else's
by Adamus_Auguste
In Pantheon, every player possesses a Talent. Ren Blackwell, however, finds his column completely blank. There’s no grade, no class suggestion, and no starter pack. The game indicates that there is simply nothing present, which poses a challenge for Ren, who had intended to compete fairly. Things change when he defeats an elite monster. [Plunder available.] The defeated monster possessed a skill that Ren desired, so he seized it. As he continues, he learns that monsters are not the only ones he can target. Skills, affinities, and abilities that were never intended for humans, as well as powers that belong to other players, become available. While Pantheon granted unique attributes to everyone else during character creation, Ren gained access to the talents of all others. In a game where gold can translate into real money, rare abilities can lead to careers, and the top players are swiftly advancing, having an empty Talent Column may turn out to be the best fortune he has ever encountered. — Description from novelcodex.org
