Naruto: I Joined the Akatsuki to Survive

by Shogun_Legacy

My name is Uchiha Kurō, and I’m a transmigrator. Unlike other transmigrators, I don’t have a system or any cheat abilities. My talent is only slightly above average. At first, I thought I could use my knowledge of the future to climb straight to the top of life. Unfortunately, because I wasn’t strong enough, I hit walls everywhere. I couldn’t stop Uchiha Obito, the friend I grew up with, from falling into darkness. I also failed to prevent the Nine-Tails’ attack. Then, as I watched Uchiha Itachi grow up year by year, I realized the coming Uchiha massacre was getting closer and closer. So, in the most honest and survival-focused way possible, I chose to run. However, not long after I defected, I just so happened to run into Uchiha Obito, who had already gone completely off the deep end. To save my own life, I exposed his identity and used our old friendship to join the Akatsuki. In a certain sense, I managed to avoid the disaster of the massacre night. But just as I was preparing to quietly grow stronger in the shadows, using my knowledge of the future to find myself a way out, I suddenly realized that things were not developing the way I expected at all. Obito: “I will create a world where Kurō can smile from the heart!” Asuma: “How could someone as good as Kurō possibly defect?! No matter how I think about it, this is all your fault, Dad! “Kurō… Kurō is the man who could have become my father!” Naruto, accompanied by the souls of his parents:“Those troublemakers in Konoha just need a beating! If they won’t listen, you hit them until they do!” Kurō: “Wait, what? What the hell is going on here?” — Description from novelcodex.org
