Plundering the Talents of the Weakest Conscript

On the front lines of the Kaien Kingdom, conscript soldier Rian experiences his unit’s total annihilation in his very first battle. To survive, he chooses only one method: Hide beneath a pile of his dead comrades’ bodies… and pretend to have died with them. In the face of death, Rian realizes something shocking: when he touches the corpse of the dead, he can absorb the talent they accumulated over a lifetime—and their final will. “To make sure his life wasn’t wasted… I have to become stronger.” He flees with a scout’s agility, and faces enemies with a spearman’s skill. An era where soldiers are nothing more than expendable supplies on the battlefield. Carrying the lives of the fallen, a survivor begins to endure—by the most desperate means imaginable. — Description from novelcodex.orgFull novel: Plundering the Talents of the Weakest Conscript — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org
