Pokémon: Rocket’s Rising Shadow

Reincarnated into the Pokémon world as a penniless orphan in Cerulean City, Adrian quickly learns that Kanto is nothing like the adventure he remembers. The Pokémon League controls opportunity, powerful families dominate the upper levels of society, and Team Rocket has grown into a vast criminal organization embedded throughout the region. With only a unique Scan System capable of revealing a Pokémon’s true potential, Adrian joins Team Rocket and survives its ruthless recruitment trial, gaining a talented Croagunk as his first partner. Starting from the very bottom, Adrian trains his Pokémon, explores Kanto, takes dangerous Rocket missions, hunts for valuable resources, and slowly builds a team capable of carrying him toward the summit. But as conflict between Team Rocket and the League intensifies, Adrian discovers that raw strength is only part of what controls Kanto. Money, influence, corruption, information—and powerful Pokémon—decide who truly stands at the top. Adrian doesn’t intend to remain a disposable Rocket Grunt forever. He intends to rise. — Description from novelcodex.orgFull novel: Pokémon: Rocket’s Rising Shadow — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org
