Project Genesis Origin
by Primordial Author
In the year 2060, Wu Han is a brilliant scientist from Hunan Province who has devoted himself to a question that modern science has largely dismissed: Medicine can repair damaged organs. Technology can augment human capabilities. Genetic engineering can manipulate the foundations of life. Yet beneath all of humanity's scientific achievements, Wu Han suspects that something fundamental remains unexplained. Ancient Chinese medical texts speak of meridians, acupoints, dantians, Qi, and the relationship between blood and vital energy. To most modern scientists, these concepts belong to the realm of tradition and philosophy. Wu Han refuses to accept that conclusion. He creates an experimental artificial intelligence named Omega and gives it a seemingly impossible task: analyze thousands of years of traditional knowledge alongside modern physiology, identify correlations, and determine whether the ancient descriptions of the human body contain something science has failed to recognize. At first, the results appear meaningless. Then Omega discovers patterns. The locations of traditional acupoints correspond with measurable physiological structures. Simulated meridian networks produce unexpected interactions with blood circulation. A mathematical model of Qi begins behaving unlike any known biological system. And deep within the simulated human body, Omega detects something it cannot explain. An anomaly centered around the legendary lower dantian. The simulation fails. Again and again, Omega attempts to reproduce the phenomenon. It cannot. For Wu Han, however, failure is not a reason to stop. It is evidence that there is something worth discovering. What begins as a scientific investigation slowly becomes something far more dangerous. If Qi is real, then the ancient practitioners were not merely preserving superstition. They may have been describing a hidden aspect of human physiology—one that modern civilization has forgotten how to access. But understanding something and controlling it are two very different things. Every breakthrough brings new questions. Every experiment carries greater risks. And as Wu Han pushes Genesis Origin beyond theoretical research and toward physical experimentation, he approaches a boundary that humanity may never have crossed before. The goal was simple: Wu Han has yet to realize that the body may not be the only thing waiting to be awakened. — Description from novelcodex.org
