Soul Absorber: The Strongest Lineage

In Asteria, no one is born without a destiny. Every person carries a Lineage, a legacy passed down through blood that determines their surname, their power, and the place they will occupy in the world. Kair has none. No surname, no power, and no family capable of protecting him, he grew up knowing that, to the great Lineages, his life is worth little. But once he comes of age, there is no choice. Like every other young person in the Empire, Kair is sent into the Fracture. A trial where thousands enter. And few make it to dawn. Inside the Fracture, Kair will discover that survival depends on more than strength. Strange creatures inhabit the place, ancient rules seem to govern its balance, and the survivors themselves can become just as dangerous as the monsters. While the great Lineages watch the trial from afar, Kair begins to realize that something far greater lies hidden behind the tradition. Something that reaches back to a past the world chose to forget. And perhaps the greatest danger was never entering the Fracture without a Lineage. Perhaps it will be discovering what he becomes after entering it without one. — Description from novelcodex.orgFull novel: Soul Absorber: The Strongest Lineage — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org
