Noel never expected his second life to begin as a monster. After an unexpected reincarnation, he awakens in a vast desert with no humans, no civilization, and no idea how he got there. Then a mysterious voice appears.[DING!][Character Template System Activated.] [Host identified: Shukaku.] Noel’s new identity is the One-Tail—the legendary tanuki destined to become a feared creature of the ninja world. But there’s a problem. The world he has been reborn into isn’t the Naruto world he remembers. The great ninja villages haven’t been founded yet. The famous clans haven’t risen to power. The events he knows from the future are still centuries away. For now, Noel has only one goal:Survive. But survival soon turns into something much bigger. With the power of his first template, Morax, Noel begins transforming the barren desert around him. What starts as a simple oasis slowly becomes a settlement, then a city, and eventually the foundation of an entirely new civilization. He builds roads. He creates laws. He develops agriculture. He protects travelers. He studies the mysterious world around him. And, little by little, other beings begin gathering around the strange tanuki who seems far more interested in building a peaceful nation than destroying the world. But Noel’s greatest secret remains hidden. He knows the future. He knows that one day, the world will call him Shukaku. He knows humans will fear him. And he knows the age of the great shinobi is coming. So before that day arrives… Noel intends to build something that can survive it.A home.A nation.A civilization. And perhaps, one day—A legend.
