Synopsis: In the early 1980s, Qiao Mingzhu suddenly realizes that she has transmigrated into a novel. She had always believed she was her parents’ biological daughter. It isn’t until her biological older sister comes looking for her that she discovers the truth: she was adopted. Her biological father died young, and her biological mother’s whereabouts are unknown. Her eldest brother was left alone to support his younger brothers and sisters and simply couldn’t afford to raise them all. So, when his youngest sister was only a few months old, he gave her away to another family. That youngest sister is Qiao Mingzhu.
