The Mage Who Wasn't Meant to Be

He wanted to see tomorrow. He never got the chance. Anastasius was fifteen when he finally decided that he wanted to live. After years of bullying, loneliness, and believing that his family would be better without him, he nearly ended his own life. But when his older brother reached out to him and his little sister sought comfort in him during a storm, something inside him changed. For the first time, Anastasius wanted to see what tomorrow would bring. He never got to. The next day, a terrible accident claimed his life as he protected his younger sister with his own body. But death was not the end. Anastasius awakens in the body of Aric Noctra, the fifteen year old son of one of the most powerful noble families in the world. Aric has been unconscious for three years. His body is frail. His swordsmanship is pathetic compared to his legendary father. His life has been overshadowed by his siblings, and during three years of helpless consciousness, he grew bitter toward the family that never stopped loving him. Now, two lives exist within one body. One boy died believing nobody cared about him. The other lived believing everyone had abandoned him. Neither was entirely right. With the memories of Aric and the regrets of Anastasius, he is given something he never had in his first life, another chance to live. But this world is not peaceful. Mana flows through every corner of the world. Mages wield supernatural spells through Mana Circles, swordsmen forge their bodies with Battle Aura, monsters threaten entire territories, and ancient powers watch from the shadows. Aric possesses extraordinary magical talent, yet his weak body cannot withstand the power he can unleash. If he wants to survive, he must grow stronger. If he wants to understand the family Aric once resented, he must learn to accept the love Anastasius once realized he had too late. And if he wants to discover why he was given a second life, he will have to face a world far larger than the one he left behind. This time, he has no intention of wasting tomorrow. — Description from novelcodex.orgFull novel: The Mage Who Wasn't Meant to Be — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org
