The Rise of the Thunderborn

On Blue Star, humanity lives under constant threat from powerful Ferocious Beasts, while awakened humans train to become Ability Users and protect civilization. Eighteen-year-old ‘Kael Veyron’, an orphan who awakens with an ordinary E-rank ability called Weak Electricity, seems destined to remain among the weakest. Everything changes when the mysterious Deep Blue System awakens within him and grants him an S-rank ability, Purple Sky Thunder, along with the ability to strengthen his body, spirit, combat techniques, and skills by earning Ability Points. As Kael prepares for the dangerous Combat Examination, he hides his true strength and enters the battlefield armed only with his Obsidian Spear and years of training. While other students struggle against Ferocious Beasts, Kael rapidly masters Advanced Spearmanship , hunts increasingly powerful enemies, and accumulates Ability Points at an astonishing rate. His unexpected rise from an overlooked E-rank student to one of the examination’s strongest candidates shocks his teachers and classmates, but the Combat Examination is only the beginning. As Kael continues unlocking the secrets of Deep Blue and Purple Sky Thunder, he sets his sights on becoming a powerful Ability User capable of standing at the highest level of humanity. — Description from novelcodex.orgFull novel: The Rise of the Thunderborn — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org
