Even if the novel is bad, you can't judge it just with your own opinion and perspective with less than a dozen chapters. An example of this is Grasping Evil, if you judge only by the first 100 chapters, it is something horrible, I say this because I thought so too, but after the first hundred, It was so good that it entered my top 5 novels. It is a rev even if its only the first 3 chapters. Could it be to little to be helpful yes, but does it means its bad/wrong? No because fist of he begins with having only read 3 chapters(instantly giving away how much he knows) and secondly it already can be used as a somewhat basis as to whats gonna happen, should he have read more or is his rev not good because of that? Likely, does that mean it isnt one? No it is. Also if a novel becomes good on chapter 100 than he has every right to call it trash since thats like 2 books(here it would be 4) to become good(even if it is 9+/10 after that in my opinion as a whole such a novel would at most get 8.9-10) .
