The Teasing Older Sister Is Sharp-Tongued But Soft-Hearted

by Unknown

Jiang Youlan was twenty-five years old. Looking back on the first half of her life, it had been as tortuous as a tragic romance novel. Simply put, she had an incompetent younger brother, a mother who could never tell right from wrong, and a father who loved drinking. Years ago, to escape that family, she boarded an overnight bus to Xia City. The journey took a full nineteen hours. But when she got off the bus, she discovered that escaping had only been the beginning. The difficult part was figuring out how to survive. Fortunately, she had a reasonably beautiful face and not particularly high moral standards. And so, she quickly entered an ancient profession and managed to scrape by in a bustling city of flashing lights and nightlife. Narrow alleyways piled high with garbage, rotating blue-and-white striped barber poles, sequined camisoles and shorts. These things made up almost her entire life. Until she met that short-haired girl. In the girl’s eyes, she saw another kind of color. She saw another possibility for desire. In those eyes was a determination, courage, and sharpness that she had never possessed. And from the moment they met, she began to move toward her, getting closer to her, entering her world. Until their lives became entangled and intertwined, blending into the same color. Little Scene Jiang Youlan: Leave. You shouldn’t have come here. Doesn’t Sister want me? Qing Yi pressed herself closer. Jiang Youlan turned her face away. I don’t. Sister is always like this, tough on the outside but soft-hearted. Mm And other places are soft too. Little Scene The sky was beginning to turn faintly white. Before they realized it, the two of them had once again spent the entire night together. (They did not actually stay awake all night.) Jiang Youlan: Payment. Qing Yi: Okay, Sister. Please choose your payment method. As she spoke, she leaned closer again. Little Scene After having dinner with their friends, the young couple held hands as they walked home. Qing Yi said proudly, All my friends said Sister is beautiful. They said I really got a great deal. Hehe, let them be jealous. Jiang Youlan: No eating today. In the middle of the night, Jiang Youlan woke up groggily. She thought a cat was biting her leg, but when she opened her eyes, she discovered, It wasn’t a cat. Little Scene Several years later, the young couple went to a bar together. During a drinking game, Jiang Youlan drew a question slip, Where did you first meet the person you love? Barbershop, Jiang Youlan answered without even thinking. Flower shop! Qing Yi blurted out. Jiang Youlan turned to look at her suspiciously, but Qing Yi refused to explain when exactly it had happened. That night, Qing Yi woke up and discovered that she was sleeping on the floor. Fortunately, there was a soft, long-haired carpet beside the bed that had been laid out for the cat, so she wasn’t cold. The cat was sleeping on the bed, in her place, sprawled out in every direction and even snoring softly. Qing Yi:? Jiang Youlan: If you won’t explain yourself properly, then sleep on the floor. One-Sentence Introduction: And I love you, despite all the stains covering you. Theme: No matter what circumstances you find yourself in, never forget to be brave enough to pursue love. — Description from novelcodex.org
