Winter Season

Nine years since "that incident," Seunghyeok and Ihyeon are reunited by a twist of fate. Gu Seunghyeok is now the ruthless president of Nexus Club, a front for the Taeseong Group crime syndicate. Kwon Ihyeon is just a struggling part-timer at that very club. Despite the years, Seunghyeok’s gaze is still laced with raw hatred and venom—a sharp contrast to Ihyeon’s hollow, indifferent stare. "Tell me, did we start selling bodies here too?" "Kwon Ihyeon... do you remember what I promised to do to you if we ever met again?" Seunghyeok’s obsession manifests as cruel mockery, leading to Ihyeon’s immediate firing. But when Ihyeon learns of his father’s terminal cancer, he is forced into a desperate debt. Seunghyeok makes a cold proposal: don't pay me back in cash—pay me with your life and labor. Bound as debtor and creditor, they are pulled into a dark spiral where hatred begins to feel dangerously like something else. "Fine. I don't give a damn who you're sleeping with. But you keep getting under my skin... It's driving me crazy." The story of a homophobe and a gay man, trapped in a web of past trauma, trying to survive their present. "Gu Seunghyeok, you are the worst nightmare of my life. I pray we never cross paths again—not even by accident." — Description from novelcodex.orgFull novel: Winter Season — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org
