The Endgame World

The world is a chessboard, all beings are pieces. Shen Yi, a modern man obsessed with Go, places a stone at a mountain chess pavilion and has his soul sucked into an ancient endgame, becoming a blind Daoist. In this world of gods and ghosts, he uses a single chess piece and his profound Go wisdom to enlighten fox spirits, befriend dragons, and travel the land. Each person he enlightens and each good deed he does forms a karmic chess piece, which when placed can trigger cosmic changes. Some see him as a transcendent sage, others want him dead. As the truth behind the endgame unfolds, Shen Yi realizes he is not a transmigrator but a 'solution spirit' born to break the game. This is not a game that can be won by brute force.
