Apocalypse: I Use Bugs to Overhaul the World
by 江南惊风
When the Zero Calamity struck, the world turned into a heap of spaghetti code that had been running for ten thousand years. Physical laws were underlying bugs, mutated monsters were malignant viruses, and spatial rifts were unhandled errors. While others scavenged machetes and hoarded canned food to survive, top hacker Jiang Liu bound himself to a foul-mouthed programmer system. Door about to break? Write a line of lock permission code to make it indestructible, shattering any axe that strikes it. Mutant charging at him? Inject an infinite loop bug, making it spasm in place until it recursively crashes itself. Someone trying to steal his safe house? Give them a permanent ban package, deleting both them and their gear from the database. The system constantly curses at him for writing crappy code, but then turns around and writes bugs that screw him over: "It's a feature, not a bug! You don't know anything about agile development!" With a product manager villain who wants to format all of humanity and a reborn tester who knows every vulnerability, Jiang Liu just laughs. Finding bugs? That's my specialty. Others survive by fighting; Jiang Liu survives by writing bugs. This broken world full of holes? No problem, I'll patch it into a new order.
