Strange Tales

After his grandfather disappeared, Chen Mo discovered a black-covered notebook in an old bookstore. It felt like skin, had no words on the cover, and the first page simply read "Strange Tales." From that day on, the corners of the city that shouldn't exist began to open up to him: a residential building with only 6 floors but an extra 7th floor, an old street clock shop where all clocks ran backward, and the 14th person appearing out of nowhere in a photo... Each tale was a forgotten obsession; completing it meant survival, failure meant being assimilated by the story forever. Chen Mo thought he was just resolving strange tales and collecting relics, until he discovered that the backs of all relics pieced together formed a complete formation diagram. All the deceased in the ghost stories looked like himself. And the Strange Tales notebook, every page was waiting for him to finish the 72nd story.
