Algorithm engineer An Feibi is framed and laid off by his boss Wang Dahu, betrayed by his wife Zhang Qi and her brother Lu Lu, and his mother is scammed out of her surgery money via AI face-swapping. In desperation, he co-founds an anti-fraud AI company with four former colleagues, but faces relentless sabotage from Wang Dahu: blocking partnerships, planting a mole to steal core code, malicious patent infringement claims, inciting internal strife, freezing company accounts, hiring hackers, and causing the death of a team member. With help from anti-fraud officer Li Qing and her uncle, they win a national anti-fraud project. Wang Dahu colludes with bank manager Zhao Kun to sell citizens' private data to overseas fraud boss "Viper," enabling AI face-swapping scams that ruin lives. Lu Lu and Zhang Qi are used as pawns and eventually imprisoned; Lu Lu is killed abroad, Zhang Qi is scorned and flees. Police capture Viper, Zhao Kun, and Wang Dahu, who are sentenced. An Feibi and Li Qing marry, and the team achieves a 99% AI fraud detection rate, protecting public assets.
